Will there be or will there not be an Iron Man 4 with Robert Downey Jr., that is the question! Will RDJ continue his awesome roll as Tony Stark? This is the BIG question floating around and even though RDJ confirmed that there would be an Iron Man 4, he didn’t get to specifics… He didn’t mention whether or not he’d star in it, which is enough of a vague answer to cause a tailspin convo on the Whats & Ifs of Iron Man 4, I’m just sayin!
There have been whispers about a possible Iron Man prequel starring Ty Simpkins, which if any of you recall, Ty played the smartass kid in Iron Man 3. He was 12 when he starred in the movie and by the time Iron Man 4 rolls out (which has been said to be March 25th, 2016) Simpkins would be 15, which would mean that he could pretty much hold his own as a young Tony Stark.
The whole reason behind RDJ turning down IM4 is because he preferred starring opposite Chris Evans (Captain America) in Captain America: Civil War, which is not only being directed by the Russo Bros, or that it’s also one of the most important or revealing comic books in the Marvel Comic Universe; it also means that it’ll kick off Marvel’s Phase 3 Cinematic Universe… Needless to say (but I’m going to anyway), Marvel needs to bring it with everything they’ve got to the cinematic level, because anything less would be a travesty.
The next and final movie that is set to close Marvel’s Phase II Cinematic Universe is AVENGERS: Age of Ultron which is set to hit theaters May 01st throughout the Great US of A!
